A new collembolan species, Pseudosinella hui, is described from a cave in Guilin, Guangxi, China. The species is most similar to a group of four European and one Nearctic species characterized by a ciliate labial M1 macrochaeta and lack of seta a on the second abdominal segment. They share a number of features including presence of eyes and lack of thoracic macrochaetae.
